Did you know?
Skin pigmentation is only one element out of 3.5 billion letters in genetic code. |
Skin pigment developed originally
as a result of the body trying to balance the amount of Vitamin D and folic
acid in a system. The deeper the skin tone the more the body shields the
absorption of Vitamin D .

Many know that humans are more closely related to each other than to monkeys. We are a human race. There is scientific evidence to prove that the color of someone's skin, compared to another, is only a very small variation in genetic code. Humans are more similar to each other than we think we are. As a matter of fact, in the future humans will look more similar to each other in pigment than ever before. Human's enjoy lists and like to categorize things by nature. There is such an obsession over race that people do not realize how similar they are to each other genetically. The information in the quiz above is meant to show how there are so many common misconceptions about race in specifics to genetic code, that many no longer be valid as arguments in being racist. The more science progresses overtime, the more likely racism on the concept of science will dissipate (Rivard).
